I am on vacation this week. Which means I have actually gone outside, and done stuff “in real life” with Shawno. So nice to have time to do that. My next vacation will be….. sometime in April of 2009. Yeah, I wish I was only kidding about that.
Today’s Haiku of Frustration is called : “Disappeared”. For once, it’s about technology hating me, instead of me hating my job.
You can still get yourself a copy of Haiku of Frustration: Wage Slave if you haven’t already done so. It’s cute, it’s fun, it’s pocket-sized!
Today’s episode includes “Messages for Vanya”. This one is even recorded in a way that makes it actually listenable. If you like these little bunny message mixes, let me know. For that matter, if you absolutely hate ‘em, let me know that too.
Music by: The Shamblers , with a song called “Burn”. Universal Poplab , with a song called “I Could Say I’m Sorry”. The Ropes , with a song called “I Don’t Like to Get Dirty”.
Ok… right now, I can’t figure out how to actually get the podcast to show up on this blog post. I guess thats what I get for deciding to be all coollike, and changing the blog theme. Technology hates me. So, if you can’t find the podcast that should appear right about here… not to worry. It’s not you, it’s me.

Inside My Head Vidcast 6
Not too long ago, I was coming home from work, and driving through the maze of orange cones the construction crew had set up. They are still working on my street, (and very likely will be until sometime in November). When I got home, and parked my car, this video is what I saw on the street right outside my house.
The construction crew is getting used to me. As soon as I got out there, I heard one guy yell : “Hey! She’s taping! She’s taping” Another guy waved “hello” as he passed by. A third guy yelled : “Hey! Can we get a copy of that!” I, of course, nodded my head and yelled back : “It’ll be on Youtube”. It is the third guy you see waving at the camera at the start of this video.
It has taken me a while to get around to putting together this video. I decided that today was an appropriate time to get it done for a few reasons. I just had another round of dental work done on Thursday, (a few days ago), and I figured out when Shawno and I recorded the newest episode of Hyper Nonsense earlier that it hurt to talk. So, I didn’t really think I had the energy to do a regular Inside My Head podcast episode tonight. Also, I was putting this video together on the Fourth of July. Nothing says “summer” and “America” more than road work, right?

In case you didn’t already know, I am one of the many, many, many people who plays World Of Warcraft. (If you play too, and want to know what servers I’m on, send me an email.). I always struggle when it is time to name my new characters. What should I call this one? For me, this is a tough decision.
I have searched, but there aren’t too many sources to help someone find a good name. So, to fill that void, I created a short, but informative, video, as a guide to finding the perfect name for your World of Warcraft characters.

The construction crew that has basically taken up residency in my street is back again. This time around they have moved closer to my front door, and blocked off my access point to the street. Nice!
