Today’s Haiku of Frustration is called “Crazies”. I share some a few little stories about the crazy people who have come into my store this week, to bother me.

  2. I think I can actually get fired for trying that. There is something in the employee handbook that states that employees are not allowed to “advertise” for anything not work related while in the store. In particular, this means that if you happen to belong to the local theater group, you cannot put the flier for your show in the break room. But, if they wanted to be nasty, they could get me in trouble for even mentioning that I have published a book, because I mentioned it while I was in the store itself, likely “clocked in”, to others who were working at the moment as well.

    Standing in the front of the store, and selling it will also get me in trouble.

    Nasty Corporation.

    Nevertheless, I have managed to mention it to a few people who I knew wouldn’t “turn me in” for doing so. The revolution continues! ;)
