Lans,
I love that story! I would be calling your library all the time, just to hear y'all sing.
I bet the older female patrons really loved it.

Colin,
Oops! I seem to have blended Ourobourous and Made in the UK into one show. Didn't mean that. I will read a correction in my next show, (number 54), which I should be recording very soon.
Glad you liked the Yes Means Yes song. It's been one of my favorites for a long time.

Thanks for the plug. Another great show as always. Really like that Yes Means Yes track and I've downloaded it for my show already.

My show doesn't just feature music from the UK. In the year I've been doing this I've played music from Greece, Poland, Switzerland, Brazil, New Zealand and Thailand. I think the confusion comes from Made In The UK, which is run by Rowley and I regularly contribute to.

Great show! This one and Hypernonsense were my 'driving to and from work' podcasts today.

I LOVE 'Zombie Jesus Day'! It always stuck me as funny when people would call someplace I worked and ask if we were open. It is so tempting to just say 'Sorry, not today.' In my first job, I was lucky enough to work in the county library so there was a lot less pressure than in retail. We had a tradition that for the month of December every time the phone rang my three co-horts and I raced to it and, in harmony, would answer 'Phillips, Lee, Monroe Regional Library....We wish you a Merry Christmas...We wish you a Merry Christmas....We wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy new year...May we help you? The head librarian was a little peeved at first, but all the older female patrons loved it so she kept quiet.
