Inside My Head Vidcast #2

This is the video for the song I did a while ago, called “Tweet”.

All six of our cockatiels are featured in this video, being their crazy little selves.

Enjoy! :)

  1. That’s really cool, birds rawk! :) My family had a cockatiel for awhile, they sure have character!

I had to watch through this twice, because the soundtrack was so intriguing. The bird chatter seemed so natural at first, but on listening further — it’s arranged, isn’t it!! At least partly? It’s a great merging of musicality and naturality, at any rate!

  2. Wow, Qrystal! Thank you for all the positive feedback. :)

There is some “natural” cockatiel sound in the video. But, the song I used, “Tweet” is arranged. First, my husband recorded our birdies when they were singing. Then, I took that, picked out pieces, and arranged them with music using the Garageband software. It was fun! And then, later, I combined the song with some video I shot of our birdies being their natural goofy selves, leaving in the noises the birds made on the video, and putting the song into that.

So, yes, it is “arranged”, but is also natural.

Cockatiels make great pets. So friendly, and you never know what they will do next.
