  1. One of the reasons I am having such dismal luck with my own job search is that I am only applying for jobs that match up well with my own experience. I’ve not got to the stage yet of applying for everything that moves. The difference between you and me is that You’re in a situation you’re desperate to get out of, while I’m reasonably happy with my situation as it is.

I just don’t have any money.

  2. Hi Jen,

Just listened to #68 and can empathise with your position. I was in the “emptionally checked out” state with my last employer (Microsoft) and finally threw in the towel, after just too much pressure and buillshit last month. It’s been a month of worrying, regretting, applying like crazy and more worrying!

That said, I did manage to get another job and I start next week. So keep your spirits up. There is definitely something out for all of us – just keep plugging away until you find it.
