Since School Started

Inside My Head Podcast show number 92.
Yeah, I know I said it was show number 91 on the show. It’s not. This is not the first time I have screwed up the show number.

I’ve not done an IMH podcast at all since school started. This episode will tell you what has been keeping me away from recording, as well as some interesting things that have happened at my (former) job.

Yes, you read that right, I am now unemployed!
For play by play details about just how and when that happened, listen to Hyper Nonsense.

Music on this show by:
* Black Sabbath, with a song called “Ironman”
I didn’t play the whole song, but you can here it in this video:

* Cruisebox, with a song called “On a Podcast”. Anyone know what the link is to this band’s page? Let me know, and I will add it here.

* Kyle Dine, with a song called “Epi Man”.
This video shows an interview with Kyle Dine, telling about what he does, why he made songs for kids about allergies, and what inspired the song “Epi Man”. He sings “Epi Man”, live, on this video.

* Underwhelmed, with a song called “Freak Like Me”.

* The Priddle Concern, with a song called “I Had A Job”.

* Deathboy, with a song called “Smile, You Fuckers”.

No haiku of frustration on this show, because, honestly… where to begin?

Enjoy the show! I should be able to create new episodes more often now that I’m unemployed. I got tons of time!

  1. 2 somments:

    A) Just recently had a young family member show signs of very high allergies to peanuts. It was kind of scary. Luckily they spit out the peanutbutter jelly sandwich instead swollowing it. who know what could have happened. Now we keep an Epi pen in the kitchen cabinet just for this kind of situation. In fact there are 4 epi pens in different places throughout our town just in case.

    B) I think we should have a powwow. We should start a little brainstorming session about how it sucks to be unemployed, then you offer the slogan on T-Shirts on cafepress or some other similar service to everyone who listens to you. We as your loyal listeners send out a blast of facebook and retweets of these t-shirts every week. The reason we do this every week is because you shange the slogan every week, making the T-Shirts Collectible. Make sure the inside my head logo is on the shirt somewhere. This would be a total support Jen campaign. You have a couple of artists in your listenership, including your truely. It should not be that hard to some up with a couple of slogan designs.

    Just a thought.

  2. For me, being on unemployment is not that bad. Money wise I’m surviving, so I can’t really complain. Wake up at noon, do home work and listen to podcasts. The only reason I am doing so well in school is because I am unemployed. Only problem is that my unemployment runs out next month.

    Great music in today’s show!
