Christmas 2010

Inside My Head podcast number 136

This is the Christmas episode. Fair warning!
I found some Christmas music that doesn’t suck… so here it is.
I also talked a little bit about giving gifts to my family, and a really interesting Christmas card that my Aunt sent to me.

Music in this episode by:

* The Strawheads, with a song called “But Hey, Happy Christmas”.
Here is the video for that song:

* Gilli Moon, with a song called “Merry Christmas, My Love”

* A Band Called Quinn, with a song called “Letting Your Light Shine”.
Go check out their Advent Calendar on their Facebook page.

* Ingi, with a song called “You Little Fruitcake”
Here is the video for that song:

* The FuMP, with a song called “Christmas With the Zombies”

* Megaphone, with a song called “The Perfect Gift”.

* Admiral Twin, with a song called “Christmas Time Is Here”

* American Heartbreak, with a song called “Xmas Song” (or, maybe it’s called “The Greatest Xmas Song Ever Written”, if you look at it on Podsafe Music Network”.

* The Alice Project, with a song called “Regifting For The Holidays”
Here is the really fun video for this song:

And I ended the show with a song that isn’t technically podsafe… (not intending to make a practice of doing that… this is an exception).
* Guster, with a song called “Tiny Tree Christmas”
Here is the video for that song:

You can download the song by Guster for free from Target

  1. Another great alternative Christmas set. Look forward to these every year. My favorites were You Little Fruitcake which is very Beatlesesque Sgt. Pepper era reminiscent of Being For the Benefit of Mr. Kite. The other one I liked and downloaded was the Gilli Moon track which is beautifully sung.
