Im back from an unexpected hiatus. Been super busy lately writing, writing, and, oh, yeah.. writing. Was super tired and on extra allergy medication when I recorded this episode, in the wee hours of the morning. An alternate title for this episode could be : “Jen Babbles On”.

And finally, here is this week’s Inside My Head episode:
Here’s a quick little video of one of my cockatiels, Pepper, singing. He starts to do a little dance that is unique to him. If you listen closely, you can hear him say “nastybird”, which is his nickname.
Gordo the cockatiel loves taking baths. As soon as we put out the big water dish, he always the first bird to jump in, every time. If the water stays out long enough, he has been known to take more than one bath a day. He has also tried to bathe in the little water dish that the birds are supposed to drink from, and once, he tried to bathe in Shawn’s big blue plastic water mug.
Gordo loves taking baths. I decided to capture Gordo doing one of his favorite activities on video. Once he got over being all suspicious of the camera, his focus was once again, on taking a bath. As you can see, he’s not too keen on sharing the “bathtub” with any of the other birds.
Inside My Head Podcast number 3.12 for NaPodPoMo 2009.
I hate road construction! I especially hate road construction that happens right in front of my house. The mobile home complex we live in has decided to re-do all the little streets in here. They did this same thing about a year ago. I cannot imagine this is necessary to do all over again, so soon.
I happen to have allergies to dust, all kinds of dust. It causes me to wheeze, and potentially have an asthma attack. Needless to say, I am not at all pleased with the dust clouds produced by the construction workers right now. I am going to be sick all day, thanks to them. Not fair!
I filmed the first part of this video while standing on my front porch. The second part was filmed through my window, as I stood inside and looked out. By then, the dust was too bad for me to have safely gone out there.
