Inside My Head Podcast number seventy eight.

I hate Valentine’s Day.

Last year I did the first “Anti-Valentine” show, where I ranted about how Valentine’s Day was a stupid “Halmark Holiday”, a waste of money, and a giant ball of mixed messages. At the end, I mentioned the shooting that happened at NIU that year on Valentine’s Day.

This year, I have gone back into teaching, and my class had a Valentine’s Day party that I had to attend. Listen to the show to see how that went. This got me thinking about what Valentine’s Day is like for children, and then tweens and teens. Enjoy the ranting!
