Inside My Head Podcast number 3.6 for NaPodPoMo

We’re ba-aa-aaack!

Enjoy the mini- version of the Hyper Nonsense show. I know some of you out there were missing it, so I thought it would be fun to bring a little bit of it back, one more time.

The challenge today was to see if we could do a ten minute version of Hyper Nonsense, without losing it’s character. The show is a little over ten minutes, but it’s not quite eleven minutes, so, I think that works for me. Does it still sound like Hyper Nonsense? Listen to find out.

If you want to hear more of the (now ended) Hyper Nonsense show, you can. Many of the shows are still available at the Hyper Nonsense website.

Halloween

Inside My Head podcast number 95

This is the Halloween episode! I don’t think I’ve ever done one of those before on Inside My Head. Halloween is just a few days away, so, I am getting this podcast in just under the wire. Better late than never, I suppose.

Today’s Haiku of Frustration is called: “Anytime Now”. Seemed appropriate, as I was recording this episode of Inside My Head moments before the US Government was supposed to call me in regards to Unemployment Insurance.

Music on today’s show by:
* Shawn from Hyper Nonsense, with a song called “Halloween is Awesome”. If you click on that link, it takes you directly to the final episode of Hyper Nonsense.
Here is the video for that song:

* Troy Sinister and the Cemetery Men, with a song called “The Living Dead”.

* Johnny O and the Jerks, with a song called “Zombie Love Affair”.
Want to watch somebody draw a zombie girl while listening to that song? Here ya go! (Pretty sure this isn’t officially from the band):

* The Supersuckers, with a song called “Sleepy Vampire”.
Here is a video of The Supersuckers at The House Of Blues:

Have a happy Halloween, everyone!

Since School Started

Inside My Head Podcast show number 92.
Yeah, I know I said it was show number 91 on the show. It’s not. This is not the first time I have screwed up the show number.

I’ve not done an IMH podcast at all since school started. This episode will tell you what has been keeping me away from recording, as well as some interesting things that have happened at my (former) job.

Yes, you read that right, I am now unemployed!
For play by play details about just how and when that happened, listen to Hyper Nonsense.

Music on this show by:
* Black Sabbath, with a song called “Ironman”
I didn’t play the whole song, but you can here it in this video:

* Cruisebox, with a song called “On a Podcast”. Anyone know what the link is to this band’s page? Let me know, and I will add it here.

* Kyle Dine, with a song called “Epi Man”.
This video shows an interview with Kyle Dine, telling about what he does, why he made songs for kids about allergies, and what inspired the song “Epi Man”. He sings “Epi Man”, live, on this video.

* Underwhelmed, with a song called “Freak Like Me”.

* The Priddle Concern, with a song called “I Had A Job”.

* Deathboy, with a song called “Smile, You Fuckers”.

No haiku of frustration on this show, because, honestly… where to begin?

Enjoy the show! I should be able to create new episodes more often now that I’m unemployed. I got tons of time!

I am on vacation this week. Which means I have actually gone outside, and done stuff “in real life” with Shawno. So nice to have time to do that. My next vacation will be….. sometime in April of 2009. Yeah, I wish I was only kidding about that.

Today’s Haiku of Frustration is called : “Disappeared”. For once, it’s about technology hating me, instead of me hating my job.

You can still get yourself a copy of Haiku of Frustration: Wage Slave if you haven’t already done so. It’s cute, it’s fun, it’s pocket-sized!

Today’s episode includes “Messages for Vanya”. This one is even recorded in a way that makes it actually listenable. If you like these little bunny message mixes, let me know. For that matter, if you absolutely hate ‘em, let me know that too.

Podcasts mentioned on this show:
Hyper Nonsense
Ourobouros Podcast

Music by:
The Shamblers , with a song called “Burn”.
Universal Poplab , with a song called “I Could Say I’m Sorry”.
The Ropes , with a song called “I Don’t Like to Get Dirty”.

Gone

Day 2 of NaPodPoMo

I am frustrated, but have not given up just yet!

Gone is my first attempt at recording today’s podcast. Disappeared into the ether somewhere.

“Gone” is the title of Today’s Haiku of Frustration.

Gone describes where my friends went between this year and last year at this time.

Gone from myspace isA. Rex a band I have selected as “Today’s Thing You Should Check Out”.

Gone is a word that if you stare at it long enough, it starts to look really wrong!

Hyper Nonsense 059 is the episode of the Hyper Nonsense Podcast where we played a song by A. Rex.

Technical Difficulties

Welcome to the brand new podcast “Inside My Head”.

I decided to do this podcast for the National Podcast Post Month. This is a learning experience for me. I have been doing the Hyper Nonsense Podcast with Shawno for over a year now, but, have never before done a podcast completely on my own. All of the technical stuff is brand new for me, and confusing, and, at the moment, frustrating.

I’m hoping that by the end of the NaPodPoMo experiment I will be more technical literate in regards to podcasting.

You can find more of my Haiku’s of Frustration on my myspace blog.

Go check out the book World War Z by Max Brooks.
