Calling It 100

Inside My Head Podcast number 100 :D

Or is it? Listen to the show to find out what I mean.

This episode is twice the length of my usual episodes. Perhaps I need to start doing feedback type episodes more frequently.

Thank you, everyone, who has listened to the Inside My Head Podcast, left a comment, and/or mentioned me or IMH on your podcast(s). I really appreciate it! This is a feedback episode, so you can all listen in and hear the things some very nice people said about me and my little show.

Included in this episode is the promised “Second Half” of the comments from NaPodPoMo.

There is a Haiku of Frustration in this episode. It is called “Talents”. You won’t find this one anywhere else, because I wrote it right before the show, and didn’t type it anywhere online. It’s an Inside My Head Podcast exclusive!

Want more haiku? Check out Heckava Haiku , by Robert Gasperson. Wonderful haiku!

Songs featured in this episode:
* echolounge, with a song called “Distant”.
Find them on MySpace , Facebook.

* VTG , with a song called “You”. Their album Love is Letting Go at CD Baby.

* Electric Touch , with a song called “Call My Name”. Warning! Their website plays music as soon as you click on it. It’s great music, but, if you happen to be at work, you might not want it to suddenly be blasting from your speakers.

* Spidersleg , with a song called “Hold Me”. If you like this song, you can listen to a few more, and also hear some information about the band, in a previous Inside My Head episode. (Sometime in November, 2009).

Thank you to Colin, from the Ourobourous podcast for helping me put together this episode, and for playing echolounge on your podcast. If it wasn’t for you, I would never have heard of the band. If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have been able to produce this episode of Inside My Head today. Thank you, so much! :)

You can find echolounge on myspace.

Or, you can find echolounge on facebook.

I played their songs :

Inside My Head Podcast number Ninety! :D

Summer school is over, and I have a story about it you won’t believe!

I am now, officially on vacation! Somewhere in this podcast, I share some good news about that. Listen for “The Horns of Importance”!

Mostly, I have been spending my time off work relaxing, and doing many of the things I have been meaning to take time to do, or to go, or to see, or to finally eat at. It’s been nice.

Today’s Haiku of Frustration is called : “Went Stupid For A Minute”. Got something that is frustrating you? Send it to Haiku of Frustration dot com.

Want to get yourself a copy of the book I get caught Reading in Public? (Details about that story on the show). Haiku of Frustration: Wage Slave is still available, for you to read, laugh at, and and possibly get caught Reading in Public with too.

Music on today’s show by:

* VTG , with a song called “I Lie Pretty”.

Here is the video for that song. Viewers offended by themes of bondage might decide to skip watching this video. Everybody else, enjoy!

* The Apple Brothers, with a song called “Farther Away”, and another song called “My Two Open Arms”. The Apple Brothers were recently played on Hyper Nonsense. We played their song “The Light’s Still On” at the end of the episode.

Do Not Test Me!

Inside My Head podcast number Eighty Five

Big fat rant in today’s episode about an evil called “Standardized Testing”. Have you taken these kinds of tests? What do you think about this issue? Listen, and then leave me a comment.

Today’s Haiku of Frustration is untitled, and is something I wrote for the Envisage 365 photo project, when my school was doing Standardized Testing.

To read more of the Wikipedia article I read a piece of in my show, click here.

Music in today’s show by:

* Colin from the Ourobouros Podcast, with a song called “The Right Way (Remix)”. The original version of “The Right Way” is by The Sidebars. If you haven’t seen this yet, here is the first part of the video diary about the collaboration across the ocean between The Sidebars and Colin, as we work on a song together.

* Two songs in today’s show are by the band Fulton Read. I played their songs “Chemistry”, and “Indivisualize”. You can also check out the band’s official page here.

Comments in today’s show by:
* Ken Turetzky

* David van Sunder

* and also by some unknown person who had a comment about a video

Enjoy the music and the ranting!

Inside My Head Podcast number 62. Yes, I did say it was show number 61 on the podcast, but, I was wrong. This is exactly why Shawno is in charge of the checking account. I screw up numbers.

It’s “Marvelously Manic”!

Check out what Colin, from The Ourobouros Podcast said about me, and my show! ;)

Today’s Haiku of Frustration is called: “Aggravation” , and, of course, relates to my job.

I am on vacation this week. Which means I have actually gone outside, and done stuff “in real life” with Shawno. So nice to have time to do that. My next vacation will be….. sometime in April of 2009. Yeah, I wish I was only kidding about that.

Today’s Haiku of Frustration is called : “Disappeared”. For once, it’s about technology hating me, instead of me hating my job.

You can still get yourself a copy of Haiku of Frustration: Wage Slave if you haven’t already done so. It’s cute, it’s fun, it’s pocket-sized!

Today’s episode includes “Messages for Vanya”. This one is even recorded in a way that makes it actually listenable. If you like these little bunny message mixes, let me know. For that matter, if you absolutely hate ‘em, let me know that too.

Podcasts mentioned on this show:
Hyper Nonsense
Ourobouros Podcast

Music by:
The Shamblers , with a song called “Burn”.
Universal Poplab , with a song called “I Could Say I’m Sorry”.
The Ropes , with a song called “I Don’t Like to Get Dirty”.
